We at True Word Christian Church (SBC) follow the traditions of the Southern Baptist Convention and affirm, in its entirety, the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.

We Believe:

      There is one true living God.  He reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, without division of nature, essence, or being.

      The Holy Bible was written by men, divinely inspired, and it is the record of God’s revelation of Himself to man.  It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without error for its matter.

      Man was created by God, in His own image.  By his free choice, man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race.  All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

      Salvation involves the whole man, and is freely offered to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who, through His own blood, obtained forgiveness for the believer.

      A New Testament Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a local body of baptized believers who are associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel.
